Bart J. Margiotta
Bart J. Margiotta has over 40 years of experience in real estate management, leasing, construction management, and development. He is a Certified Property Manager (CPM) with the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), and a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers. He has been awarded the prestigious ACCREDITED MANGEMENT ORGANIZATION® (AMO®) designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management and has been awarded St. Louis’ Property Management Firm of the Year from the National Association of Realtors (NAR), and holds a real estate license in Missouri.
Mr. Margiotta is a proud graduate of St. Louis Priory School, and St. Joseph’s College. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics. He attended St. Louis University and Chicago University graduate schools. For over ten years, Mr. Margiotta taught and coached at St. Louis Priory. In July of 1999, Mr. Margiotta was General Manager of Midwest Operations for Regency Realty Group responsible for over 65 Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) centers representing 7 million square feet of retail spaces. He ended his time with Regency as the Senior Vice President of Management. In 1999, Mr. Margiotta founded Priority Properties and in the last several decades he has developed a management portfolio of 4.2 million square feet of shopping centers throughout the Midwest. The company has offices in St. Louis and Cincinnati.
Mr. Margiotta strives to be an active member of the community. He was on the Development Board of Cardinal Glennon Hospital, a member of the Board of Trustees for the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District and worked on “game days” for the St. Louis Cardinals and former St. Louis Rams as Chief Statistician. He is also a past President of St. Louis Priory Alumni Association and has served on the Board of the Incarnate Word Foundation of St. Louis. Mr. Margiotta also served 9 years as a member of the Planning and Zoning Commission for St. Louis County. He currently serves on the Advisory Board for UMB Bank. He has been married for over 50 years, has two sons and three grandsons, all also Priory Graduates. He is an avid Cardinals fan and enjoys golfing and the outdoors.
